Thrudd:

--- Quote from: Emperor Norton on 11 Oct 2016, 13:08 ---I used to have HUGE problems with social anxiety, and the main reason had to do with not knowing my "role". General social situations... my role is unclear. When I was working in public with an actual "job" to do, I knew EXACTLY what I was supposed to be doing, so I felt more comfortable.

I actually survived doing conventions with a general fear of crowds by staffing them, giving me a role to fill. And eventually I worked it down to controllable even without having a specific job I needed to do.

Most of my fear came from not knowing what I should be doing. Once I knew that, it was pretty easy.

--- End quote ---
Joining a games club and getting into RPGs was my way of dealing with social situations.
As wall flowers went I was wall paper.
I have pretty much learned to "act the role" in day to day life for various situations but every once in a while I am at a loss.
[the terror is still there somewhere though it is locked down pretty secure most of the time]

SubaruStephen:
It's been too long since we had a "dhaaaaaaaawwww" moment.

BenRG:
That's the most fundamental sign of the changes that have taken place at Coffee of Doom: Tai and Dora can be sweet with each other without worrying about Faye complaining about it triggering a toothache or something.

They are sweet together but I'm not sure what's happening in the last panel. Doesn't Tai like being called cute? Or does Dora have a habit of indicating that she has a fairly low trigger bar for lusting after someone?

gopher:
Possibly the first time we have  seen Tai do something that wasn't just for her.

Explaining the joke will just kill it, so I'll refrain.
