Martin is going to be annoyed bailing Pintsize out of the county lock-up for driving a reindeer without a valid permit!

Isn't the US thanksgiving coming up in a few weeks?
Canadian Thanksgiving was this past weekend when there is an actual harvest to have a festival over and no or not much snow to deal with depending on your local weather systems altitude and latitude.
(click to show/hide)[no need to dig into the roots of the US holiday - yikes - do not google if you want to cling to all the propaganda they stuffed in your heads at school ]Mind you we celebrate Oktoberfest late.
Method of Madness:
Canadian Thanksgiving is the same day as Indigenous Peoples' Day, even if others in my country call it something else.

November 24 this year. It's always the fourth Thursday in November.
Although in-comic it looks like Christmas may be just around the corner, given that the fairy girl is dressed as a Christmas elf. Also judging by Hannelore's reaction and the lack of old snow on the ground this is probably Northampton's first snow of the current winter, which in a normal year would make it late November or early December. So we might get Christmas for Christmas this year - or, depending on how fast Jeph decides to move the story along, we might get Christmas next July. :-D
