Which reminds me, we never did find out who the "big fish" were that Officer Basilisk was angling for.

Would she have testified against them in her confession?

If there are big fish exploiting AIs, will they collide with Arrogant Architeuthis?

I feel like asking the question again now. Now that the storyline is (apparently) over, why are you still so sure?

The way I read http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=3312 was that Corpse Witch's establishment was barely even a crime, so the "bigger fish to fry" sounded like a reference to richer and more powerful villains than CW.

That's how I initially read it as well. However. What she was doing to Bubbles certainly was a serious crime, and so that impression was quickly revised.

If that's the case then Corpse Witch may get some witness relocation deal and possibly reappear again albeit in a different chassis.
