Bubbles might only mean it esthetically, but I think Bubbles is not sure what she means.

And Jeph did the cat smile in the newspost and nothing else.
I'm kind of not sure that this is just outright shipper teasing and nothing else, anymore. Last time I recall the use of the cat smile in a newspost was back when Marten and Claire were more fully established as a thing going forward. I can't definitively say that it hasn't been used at all since then, but the context speaks volumes, imo.

Today's comic really brings it home, but Bubbles looks so much more relaxed and natural than she did when we first met her. Which is only natural given the story arc she's been through. But it's especially noticeable with a couple of links to older pages. It goes beyond the drastically different hair style and gym suit replacing her armor. She's so much more expressive, less guarded. And really, panel five. That's all I have to say there.
