There was a character in Buffy the Vampire Slayer who looked like that. He was nice too, apart from the fact that his species of demon only ate live kittens.

Out of interest, is Work Experience Week (where students in Year 10 - age 14-15 - spend the week in a workplace of their choosing) a thing outside of the UK? If so, Union Robotics would be the perfect place for Sam to do hers!

It is in Germany (or used to be, in the early 90s).
