Number 3637: Apocalypse - Hello Ardent?

In http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=3637, is Ardent one of the attendees of the "important business" meeting with Hannelore's mother?

Jeph may have copied the face shape, but there is no sign of Ardent's elegant tail, so the character is just a random executive AI.

Storel:
He's not quite as deep a blue as Ardent, either, so I agree that he probably isn't Ardent.

But why the heck does he have blue skin, anyway? That's a bit peculiar. Perhaps he's down from the space station, representing Hannerdad in whatever this "important business" is... I could see one or more of those space station folks deciding that blue skin was a good idea for some reason.

Why does May have blue skin? I think we assume that this particular character is a Synthetic.
