Speaking of beer, there's a story that someone sent [insert your least favorite beer] to a testing lab and they said "Your horse is pregnant".

If Bubbles' skin is hard and metallic it'd be interesting how the two would handle the physical part of the relationship.

I'd be happy if they decided to have an emotional relationship that wasn't physical.  It seems the only time in fiction two characters around the same age are allowed to have emotional love for each other without the assumption that it's also physical is when both characters are strictly heterosexual females.
