And I have ALWAYS wanted to see those two together and happy in SOME form in Willis' work.
I honestly thought "Dumbing" was setting the path for that to happen - but I fear this will destroy them... :(

I have this thought at the back of my mind that here Willis is presenting us two scenarios (Danny+Sal and Joyce+Jacob) that both must go horribly wrong. I'm wondering if he's leading up to a twist where one of them goes horribly right...  :psyduck:

(That said, once would "expect" J&J to go well, and S&D to go wrong... How about the ol' change up their Mr Willis??) :)

I was sort of expecting the opposite. i.e. Jacob won't leave whats-her-name for Joyce, but Sal, upon seeing a dork very awkwardly and cringingly coming onto her, figures what the hell.
