Carl-E:
So between the literal dark cloud over Clinton and Brun on Friday, and the shining light of an Elliot-hug in the first panel today, I see Jeph's using more "illustrative atmospherics" in the comic.

Not sure how I feel about that yet - when it's obvious, there'a a point.  How else is Elliot going to "tune in" to what was going on while he was in the kitchen?  It tells us he's actually a keen observer of people, not unusual for a successful bouncer.

But when it's not so obvious, it seems a bit manipulative.  I always felt the story itself was enough to carry the emotion.

Also, the Padma special.  I'm at a point in life where I'm starting to savor my regrets.

Is it cold in here?:
"Ol' Smokie", and Renee's in control of it.

You might even say she's on top of it.

On top of spaghetti,
all covered with cheese,
I lost my poor meatball,
when somebody sneezed.

Carl-E:
...it rolled off the table,
and onto the floor,
and then my poor meatball
rolled right out the door!

cybersmurf:
I was just wondering what Brun's and Clinton's kids would look like.
imagine someone with Brun's skin tone, and the Augustus red hair.
