To me, all of Bubbles's outfit options have different upsides.

* The one in panel 5 is obviously for clubbing or for when Bubbles wants to get and hold Faye's attention;
* The one in panel 3 is for her first meeting with Faye's mother, to earn the 'She seems a nice, respectable girl' rating (maybe also to visit Faye's childhood church);
* IMO, The one in panel 4 is best for everyday use; the fact that Bubbles obviously likes it makes that clear.Speaking of the option in panel 5, I wonder how Bubbles really regards the way her body drives Faye wild? Flattered, embarrassed or a combination of both?

P.S.:
I suddenly realised yesterday that Bubbles in-service designation (using the Star Wars Stormtrooper template) could be 'BU-8135'. Look at it through 1337 filters and you'll see what I mean!

Same reason they would have skin, hair, a nose, etc.  It is a psychological aid for their interactions with humans.
