Tyr:
Also consider that Momo and Bubbles are both of a personality to accede if you asked them to NOT watch you while you sleep. Therefore, Faye must be fine with Bubbles doing so. Faye isn't exactly shy.

From the other end... there is something comforting in waking up, and taking a quick peek at your loved ones, making sure they're still breathing.

A poem by Faye Whitaker:
"As I wake, my thoughts turn to you(r tits)."

Inconsequential:
Cuteness overload, I agree.

I don't think Bubbles was watching Faye sleep or anything -- in the first panel it looks like she was on her back when Faye started talking in her sleep (couldn't have been on her left side because of the charging cable). She then pulls her charging cable out to face Faye and starts cuddling her while responding to the "bear king" dream...

Dreaming and sleep talk is just one of the many bio-brain quirks that AIs (and humans, for that matter) find charming, fascinating, and inexplicable.

I love the flexibility AIs have regarding rest and sleep (and charging). Back when Momo got her new chassis, she told Marigold that she didn't need to sleep, so she could work at night and pay Marigold back for her chassis (and Marigold told her it was a gift, not a loan). And May seems to be quite flexible about the shifts she works.

So AIs may not need sleep, or at least they have the conscious choice to move, compress, or defer their periods of rest without the resulting confusion and grogginess that afflicts us meatsacks.

Bubbles has been woken up a few times and seems to instantly come to full awareness, which makes sense. If I were to redesign human brains, I'd certainly install the ability to consciously control rest and awareness.

But sleeping and resting are essential parts of the human or sentient experience (not to mention staying in one place for a while is necessary to recharge). Maybe they defrag or run repair routines while in sleep mode.

Zebediah:
My wife has had some very amusing sleep-talking episodes, including running meetings and giving presentations while asleep.

--- Quote from: Milayna on 08 Oct 2018, 00:24 ---Also I completely fail to see how using someone else's computer establishes deniability. In fact the opposite, it makes the likelihood you will be discovered VASTLY more probable than if you do it in your own private space.

--- End quote ---
There is a very strong presumption that the owner (or customary principle user) of a computer was at the keyboard such that, unless Rules of Evidence are seriously enforced (like in a courtroom), the burden of proof shifts to the owner.  "Prove that you weren't the one poop-surfing."  The most important element of any computer crime case is placing the suspect at the keyboard.  It's not unlike a Hit-&-Run traffic collision - the prosecution has to prove the suspect was behind the wheel.

As for being discovered, the only party apt to find it is the owner.  That could result in anything from, "What are those URLs?" through "DON'T YOU EVER TOUCH MY COMPUTER AGAIN!" to bringing it to the attention of the authorities.
