Cornelius:
Rest a-sheared, we can keep this up a bit longer. Anyone want to apply their razor wit?

--- Quote from: BenRG on 17 Oct 2018, 08:47 ---Not everyone likes changing their hair colour. Momo has always had pink hair, even in her previous Sony 'ChibiPC' chassis. She's a pinkette the way Claire has red hair and Marten has black.

The lesson? Don't assume someone is part of a subculture just because they mimic bits of the aesthetic.

--- End quote ---

It was Fayes comment, "...still looks pretty punk, with the pink hair."  that made me think of it. If most people in QCverse associate pink with punk and Momo starts hearing it more and more it could lead to her thinking about changing it. As she is already changed the length of it to try and curtail the association already. Because as she has clearly stated she does not want to be associated with that at all.
So she may find that even fixing her hairstyle that might not fully do the trick and thus think about color changing. Momo has before talked about wanting to be more human-like and changing hair color to fit ones personality is VERY human.

We can say don't assume anything about anyone and at the end of the day people still will always do so subconsciously.

sitnspin:

--- Quote from: tbm275 on 17 Oct 2018, 08:37 ---Wait,

If Momo does not want to be called a punk based on her haircut and hair color combination, why does she not just activate her belly button power and change her hair color to something more subdued, a brown hair pixie cut/ short bangs is far far less "punk" than a bright pink on anything.

--- End quote ---

Because she shouldn't have to. Pink is the colour of hair she was essentially born with. She shouldn't have to change it just to avoid people's assumptions.

Is it cold in here?:
This is shear torture.

Imagining Momo now just face down in the vat: so now we finally go for the 4 inch eyebrows?

Today's page made me realise how different some things are for the machine-folks; my first though was just give it a few weeks, it will grow ou... Nope, it won't!
