Yeah. I think that's the best picture of "distraught" Jeph's done yet.

I can't believe Bubbles has been around long enough for the art to look that different. I am baffled at how quickly time moves in real life relative to this comic.

"This happened recently, I remember it clearly! ah, there it is. 300 strips ago. That's not that long ago! that's... 14 months. daaaaaaang."
Happens rater often to me, at least once when archive diving.

Yeah, when you think about it, time really does go by faster than you think.

52 weeks x 5 strips/week = 260 strips/year

3965 strips / 260 strips/year = 15.25 YEARS.

According to the About page, QC started August 1st, 2003, with three strips a week for what I calculated as roughly the first year (it's been running 23 weeks longer than it should be with five times a week and not missing a single day). I've been reading since somewhere in 2011 (I think, it's what I figured out from what I thought to be the first strips I remember reading before actually starting at 1).

Tomorrow, Friday March 22nd, it's going to be fifteen years, seven months and three weeks since the comic started. Or five thousand seven hundred and twelve days. Yes, I did type that out, because yeah, it DOES feel like a lot, looking at the numbers. Dammit Jeph!

If only! Though I shudder to think what that pace would do to Jeph.

cybersmurf:
oh dear, I didn't even see that mistake. it's kind of hilarious.
