Theta9:
--- Quote from: Mr Intrepid on 16 Apr 2019, 06:42 ---Remember that when Faye and Angus split, Faye was still abusing alcohol on a regular basis. Which goes a way toe plain her self loathing evidenced in her statement. She's in recovery now, supported by her friends and at least one other person who she has a strong emotional attachment to. She may be looking at things with a new sense of herself.
Consider what might have happened if she uprooted herself, lost her community, felt isolated in New York. Her al nihilism would have gotten worse and things may have ended tragically.
--- End quote ---
Are you typing on an Amazon Fire tablet too? I get the weirdest goddamn autocorrect artifacts if I'm not paying close attention.
DashaBlade:
--- Quote from: Carl-E on 16 Apr 2019, 06:53 ---My manager mentioned the other day that she had the same birthday as the second president, John Quincey Adams.
I couldn't let that one go either...
:-P
--- End quote ---
In a "wrong Adams" sense, or in a "damn, you're really old then" sense?
Carl-E:
Wrong Adams, but yeah, I should have made the other point too!

Samsung. The "c"is too close to the space bar for my fat fingers.
SeaWoodStage:
Aaaiiiah! This is so cool. Completely unexpected to me, but makes a lot of sense. I like the idea of a wedding with no flower girl, just a bunch of happy people witnessing two people who are bloody delighted to commit themselves to each other for the rest of their lives. I imagine that Dora will break out some previously unseen rock guitar skills at some point during the reception. Or maybe Dora and Tai will turn out to be ridiculously good at karaoke together?
ETA:
"Whooooooah.
I know it's not the right time tonight,
but I won't move until this stops.
Go back to the top.
(Aaaah) Back to the top!"
