So, with the strip now in its fifth millennium (an arbitrary milestone, yes, but still a significant one) where would you like it to go and what would you like to see? There's a limit to my imagination but I think I've come up with some interesting ideas, some of which would take the strip in entirely new directions, others of which would continue with existing plot lines. What do you think?

My votes:

* Marten - I need to get an adult life! - I really would like to see this followed up; I just wonder how Jeph would address it!
* Elliott - An embarrassment of multiple romantic options! - I mean, there's Clinton, Brun, Roko and Renee and that's only the ones we know about! I guess I just like the occasional romantic comedy of errors!
* Roko - Sometimes, you need more than words to help - I guess that I just still want to see that 'Roko Basilisk - Woman of Mystery' storyline!
Feel free to describe any ideas you have that aren't on my list. By all means do it in detail!

I like the idea of Martin going through some sort of development arc. With so much attention lately on Faye and her story, it would be nice to focus on Martin, who really is one of the other main characters.
