WCDT Strips 4011-4015 (27th-31st May, 2019)
Is it cold in here?:
True, Sven and May are not breaking new ground in synthetic/organic relations.
I wonder how common s/o sexual relations are in the QC universe. There doesn't seem to be a taboo. We've only seen two, but that's from a small sample.

Expecting any fundamental similarities between Faye-Bubbles and Sven-(whomever, really) simply because each relationship involves one H sap and one humaniform AI is ... well, c'mon.
One involves a guy who wants commitment from his counterpart, but is not willing to put the work in himself, notwithstanding the identity or even basic physical makeup of said counterpart. Steve hit the nail square when he asked Sven, rhetorically, if he always got everything he wanted for Christmas.
The other involves two nascent functional adults who give a damn about each other, know little about the work ahead of them except that there is a lot of it and they're willing to do it, and will likely give something of a damn about each other even if the experiiment fails.
Hardly similar at all, really.

Oh, absolutely! The lady doth protest too much, or at least too early. She may be speaking to Sven, but she's talking to May. It's just a matter of which one will be the first to reveal the tattoo or laser etching. Who among us hasn't suspected Sven would turn into a decent person once he grew up? And May is no exception to the rule that even the most prickly hard-asses are that way to protect their sweet and tender innards. Jeph may take it in another direction, but this scenario offers lots more romantic comedy fodder than other alternative plot lines.
I still think Mrs. Bartholomew Punchbot is a bigshot human academic and one of the people who evaluated Evie's paper.

I mean, you didn't say that in the OP, but yes.

I'm more of a Gamera guy, and I'm an admited "filthy casual". XD
I find it best not to get too bent out of shape over fandom stuff* (unless it's really messed up). And engaging with self-appointed gatekeepers is usually varying degrees of annoying.
Should I nuke the pole results since I've added my two most egregious errors?
Roughly 5 or 6 hours ago.
EDIT: Typo fix and enlarging text.
EDIT: additional typo fix
*Apparently there's still gee-wunners who bicker over which color Frenzy and Rumble are.
EDIT: I nuked the poll.
