I don't know. It is a strange phrase to use as a handshake.
I just wish I could read the waveforms... it might shed better light on it.

I'm told using swearwords from a dead religion in a dead language makes for a strange password, but it works well enough.
EDIT: not sure if I'm prasing that well enough.
EXAMPLE: Swearing by Osiris' missing dong or Ra's eye, or whatever in the kmt language. (No, I'm not using that one.)

I had an instructor who advocated using unicode characters for passwords.

You clearly haven't been around very many old timer CW* ham radio operators or military "dit chasers."
--- End quote ---
And now I feel old. Learned morse to get my ham license. Had to translate the text into audible dits and dahs to make sense of it.
Didididit Didit
( and that was a morse chuckle )

I understand they're to be in Portland early next year.

It's been well established since the early days that the different speech bubbles are how Jeph indicates electronic sounding voices. An AI with rounded speech bubbles is using a more high fidelity voice.
--- End quote ---
For example, there's a comic where (I think) Faye imitates Bubbles for part of one speech bubble, and her speech bubble is round at the top (where she's speaking in her own voice) and square at the bottom (where she's imitating Bubbles). So it's clear we shouldn't read anything further into it than the way it sounds.
