Does *any* other country have one in that form/date?

In short: No. Canada have one in October which is similar to the US one. A few other countries have a harvest festival in late September/early October, which resembles the US thanksgiving in some ways (aka a harvest festival with religious undertones)

In Brasil, there were attempts to create a Thanksgiving festival back in the 80's, but it just didn't caught on. Mainly, I think, because it was not harvest-related (we harvest pratically the whole year),  only the "religious undertones".

There are always someone trying to emulate american holydays here. Lately, Halloween. Hilarity ensues, with some religious organizations attempting to ban it because, you know, "pagan holiday" and "evil"... Which only draws more attention to the thing.

I was going to write "and to avoid future nightmares.", but that got me wondering if AIs dream regularly and that lead me to Blade Runner, and then I decided I didn't want to go there.  Ah well, back to work...

Baaaaa-zszsztzst!

Inconsequential:
I don't know why, but I love Bubbles' face in the first panel. As if an AI with a nearly complete military grade sensor suite actually has to squint to examine something small.

Also: "drat"? Who the hell has actually said "drat" since bout 1930?

Or "blast"?

Sam is present so Bubbles is just automatically PG-13-ing her language. As she is a former front-line soldier who, I suspect, may have also done her time in the Motor Pool, I suspect that Bubbles' normal response to annoyance would literally boil the paint off of the walls and render any old lady within a 2500-foot radius unconscious.
