I see the tweak, but not the improvement.

The old panel 2 was better, IMO

But panel three!

SCENE: The office of the Honorable David Narkewicz, Mayor of Northampton

The mayor looks out his office window and sees thousands of pairs of shoes scattered the length of Main Street.

The mayor mutters under his breath, “Again? This friggin’ town,” and picks up his phone to call Public Works for a cleanup crew.

Perfectly Reasonable:
Waits patiently for someone to demand an archive of the original.
...
Aaand I was not disappointed.
I am now tempted to make a wallpaper of all the Millie faces.
