WCDT strips 4226 to 4230 (23rd to 27th March 2020)
BenRG:
Okay, so let's talk about locations. Locations are more than just backgrounds to the story. They can often drive the story (as we see in the prolonged Faye-Bubbles introduction arc). They can be way of creating connections between characters who normally wouldn't interact. Or they can add new wrinkles to characters and their lives. So, what new locations would you like to see?
For me:
* A music performance venue - Because Marten decides he wants to play again and Claire encourages him to make it a second job;
* Elliot's gym - Not only for Elliot/Bubbles interaction because I can see him inviting Clinton, Roko and Beepatrice over;
* A local animal shelter/doggy daycare - Emily's second job and because you can never get enough Good Boys and Good Girls.What are your thoughts?
Gyrre:
Ha! I guess we both thought to make a WCDT at about the same time.
I'll cede mine since you got yours posted first
Autistic Vulture:
I voted for the synthetic hangouts. More Gordon, please!
How many characters would actually have a GP they go to? Beyond Jim's household, Hannelore, and Penelope (who hasn't appeared since before Brun's debut)...the Augustus clan? It's not the sort of thing that's popular among youth anywhere. Dora might, too.
Zebediah:
There’s no “modern covered mall” in Northampton. For that, you can go to Hampshire Mall in Hadley or Holyoke Mall in Holyoke.
As for comic/hobby shops, there’s Newberry Comics on Pleasant Street, but it’s not really conducive to hanging out. Modern Myths, on Bridge Street, was a great place to hang out and talk comics or role-playing games, but alas, it closed last year. Comics ‘n More in Easthampton could possibly fill that role, but this would require getting people in Northampton to admit that Easthampton exists.
shanejayell:
It would be interesting if Robots got to like coffee and tea scents like Bubbles and started hanging at Coffee of Doom.
