(click to show/hide) I should just like to point out that the private message referred to, was a reply to their message, where I simply asked to speak plainly. The other option was taking offense and reporting that message there and then.
I'll not engage again, until there is some semblance of Grice's maxims being in operation.
Back on topic: it is a good question; what would they actually use? What's more, what would happen to it, going through their system? Temperatures might not be good for some things either.
I'd leave it for someone else to test, as well.

If they choose to leave, maybe they (gender-neutral, singular) will reflect on their decisions here.
If they choose to stay, perhaps they will opt to revert to their (gender-neutral, singular) more coherent initial posts, or continue communicating as they hve been.

No matter what they choose, 'tickety-boo' is my reply (barring any instances of actual bullying).
