Dunno about May but assuming F&B can get certified/registered it pretty much guarantees their future. Or dooms them completely if they can’t.
Also, 20 years? If Mr E-C has enough pull (or money, which is the same thing) to have his own space station, the law could be on the books in 20 weeks.
Which is possibly around about when the humans start asking where their free healthcare is…

I would say the inevitable happy-horseshit conclusion is about 25 strips away. Probably 50 at most. Then he'll find another SJW hot-button to pander to.
I fully expect Renee to start screaming about how black lives matter, then Union Robotics will be working three shifts a day seven days a week re-pigmenting all the robots in Fantasy Land into proper SJW-Approved Black People, while the white characters are marginalized and forgotten. I mean just like how everyone suddenly turned bisexual and/or discovered long-repressed lesbian tendencies while the hetero characters were largely written out. I'd ask how Steve and his girl are doing but knowing how this universe works I assume Steve killed himself out of white shame and his girl runs clinic teaching women how to use fake repressed rape-trauma as a career stepping stone.
Then when that dies down in a few months and is no longer the mass-media frenzy that it is -- on to the next one!
SUCH a shameless sellout, anything to make a buck. Which is ironic -- him pandering the way he does to make a living while espousing socialism and "money is evil and a broken tool used to exploit the masses."
Makes me laugh.
