multi-franchise which character are you personality quiz made with science
cesium133:
My top 20. I have no idea what this says about me, since I haven't seen most of these TV shows/movies. It does seem to be a bad sign that my second place match was the comic book guy from The Big Bang Theory...
oddtail:
EDIT: Embedding images doesn't seem to work. I guess I'll just type these out by hand.

So first of all, I'm apparently not close to any characters? Top one being 72% is pretty low, isn't it. How the Hell y'all seem to get results above 80% at the very least?
Secondly, I don't know all of these twenty and some of the ones I do, I don't remember very well. So I can comment only on the ones I remember better-than-vaguely:
1 and 2: I... guess? If you filter out the fact that every character on that show is an awful cartoon of what an actual person would be, I guess those track?
7. I can see some similarity in personality, I guess.
9. Hell to the no. 15-year-old me was pretty close, I imagine. Nowadays I'm nowhere NEAR that level of "creepy, self-obsessed, codependent creep".
13. Other than me not being a good person compared to Chidi, sure. I'll take it.
16. I don't really see her being *that* similar to me, but I don't oppose the comparison, either.
18. Sadly, I guess there's some similarity.
20. Hah! I freakin' WISH. I'm not even ten percent as "nerd cool" as Cisco.
EDIT 2: I notice a lot of characters I have above-average matches with are nerds of some description. While I don't disagree (at all), I question how much the test matches me up with those based on me being an indoors, nerdy guy. Those are *part* of a personality, but they're not the *entire* personality.
EDIT 3: also a lot of dorky, dweeby characters. Probably true, but I can't say I'm flattered.
EDIT 4: I swear I'm done with the edits after this one. A full 580 of characters are 50-60% similar to me. If I extend that to 45-65% similar, the number becomes as high as 870. A test that says I'm slightly similar to most everyone is... a bit disappointing. Unless I'm that bland of a person.
sitnspin:
Whatever this list says about me.
1. Patrick Verona (10 Things I Hate About You): 89%
2. Tyler Durden (Fight Club): 87%
3. Rhett Butler (Gone With the Wind): 87%
4. James 'Sawyer' Ford (LOST): 86%
5. Han Solo (Star Wars): 86%
6. Spike Spiegel (Cowboy Bebop): 86%
7. Nicky Nichols (Orange is the New Black): 85%
8. Maeby Funke (Arrested Development): 85%
9. Kara 'Starbuck' Thrace (Battlestar Galactica): 84%
10. Villanelle (Killing Eve): 83%
jwhouk:
Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn that Han shot first. That's the first rule of Cowboy Bebop: Orange is the New Black. Now get in your Viper and go get that girl in the wheelchair.
oddtail:
I've reread how people, statistically, rate their similarity to characters they are matched with.
What I find fascinating is that people tend to completely agree that a chracter is completely different from themselves, but only somewhat agree that there's a similarity (and rarely consider a character VERY similar to themselves).
I wonder why that might be. Is it that we tend to think of ourselves as unique, maybe more unique than we actually are? Do we see ourselves as more complex than others?
It'd certainly explain my strong negative reaction to being matched up somewhat closely with characters I don't like.
