MrNumbers:
My current money is on May doing five minutes of soul searching and realizing if feeling weird is preventing her from banging Sven in the new body, then it's not worth feeling weird about it.
That's not even, like, a shipping goggles prediction. I've just never seen a Gordion knot that May didn't want to hack with a machete.
Christophelous:
I wasn't sure about this outcome initially, but I'm liking it more and more. May has obviously shown large amounts of character development, but no one has yet pointed out Sven. Despite me thinking that bringing up the money was initially tactless, he's shown considerable development in ending things amicably and drama free with a previous hookup. He's clearly been working on developing himself in his own time, but I think overall that May and Sven have been positive influences on each other.
These sorts of character development and personal progress are what keep me coming back to this comic

--- Quote from: BenRG on 18 Nov 2020, 23:38 ---Welp, that's Svey dead for now, I think. It will be a while before they feel comfortable enough around each other to get over this awkwardness, especially as Sven doesn't really trust his own thinking and behaviour and May really doesn't know how to do serious relationships.
Panel 5 tells the story. They really, really want to be together and are both afraid to be right now. You can see the sadness and longing in their expressions.
They'll probably run into each-other again at some point and suddenly find themselves hanging out all the time without realising it. That's how I see things progressing, anyway.

Fair enough. It seems to me that Sven has actually grown enough to recognize that he couldn't really keep a secret of that magnitude ("I had a major part in enabling you to have this new body") away from May - not without it influencing his attitude towards her. That sneaking, subconscious "you owe me" could always taint any interaction between them...
But I see that fifth panel regret too - maybe Svey will be re-floated some time in the future?

EMT: (O.O) "I'm sorry, it's where?"
Sven: (-_-;) "...Please ask how it happened."
May to Fay: "Can you get it out of their so they can reattach it already? You've been laughing for 5 minutes already."
Zebediah:
Comic’s up. Those were different times.
Also Jeph hadn’t figured out who Hannelore was at first.
