Gyrre:
Again, the best poll I could come up with was with the weather. I hope it's leagues better for everyone everywhere.
If you or anyone you know lives in Texas and are dealing with price gouging, text PJENDN to 50409 to send a prewritten letter to your representatives about price gouging.

At least she's chill about the comparison...I actually felt scared for Winslow there!
awkwardness:
Hmm...what could she do to scare the begazes out of a librarian? Maybe de-alphabetize books? renumber the stacks without copying the new locations? Mess with the catalogue so it shows books available that are actually checked out?
On second thought, those are easily done and would make any librarian quake in their boots!
Cornelius:
How about putting a book in the wrong place, and then put it an interlibrary loan for it?
BenRG:
I think that we've discussed before the way that Hannelore has definitely internalised a significant echo of her mother's problem-solving strategy without really being aware of it. I think it's a case of: "If you've only ever seen your parents using a hammer to fix stuff, you'll assume that every problem needs a hammer to fix". If not in actual methodology, at least in mindset.
Like others, I find myself wondering precisely what Hannelore's presentation would be about. One option that comes to mind: "Why Hiring Claire Augustus Has A Coincidental Timing With a Reduction in Mortgage Foreclosures for Senior Staff." Naturally, Hannelore wouldn't understand why this could be regarded as 'threatening'.
Maybe she can recall Tilly to do a song and dance number with Winslow to make it a little less intimidating?
