Farideh:
Yay sure is something :D

shanejayell:
Poor Elliot. And yeah, Yay makes me smile.

badbum61:
ACK!

(Glad Jeph explained that one - I traditionally read it as an Ace Frehley reference. And I don't really see Elliot as the "obsessive KISS nerd" type, even if we do have certain physical similarities...)

Scarlet Manuka:

--- Quote from: Gyrre on 01 Mar 2021, 02:01 ---One of my housemates grew up in California, so he's not used to the whole leave-the-sink-cabinets-open-in-winter thing.
--- End quote ---

The whole what now?

Disclaimer: I live in Perth, Western Australia, so cold-weather procedures are not really applicable here.

--- Quote from: Wikipedia ---Temperatures below 0 °C (32 °F) happen on average once every five years. The lowest temperature ever recorded for Perth is −0.7 °C (30.7 °F)
--- End quote ---
(and my area is usually a few degrees warmer than the official site)

Farideh:
My guess is it has something to do with this?

--- Quote from: https://www.benjaminfranklinplumbing.com/pleasantville/about-us/blog/2017/january/prevent-freezing-pipes-by-leaving-cabinet-doors-/ ---Leaving your cabinet doors open allows room temperature air to keep your pipes warmer. With the doors closed, your pipes are essentially sealed-in with the cold outdoor air, like a refrigerator.

--- End quote ---
