Well, in my head, Aurelia is now in her mid 40s, or late 40s, so roughly twice as old as her offspring.
And yeah, this looks like second adolescence, or mid-life crisis, or "finally I can do whatever!"

impossible? no, not impossible. but like...an effectively uncountable amount of people stream right now, in our reality. let alone in the qc-verse with the singularity et al. we're talking far smaller than needles in haystacks, here

I find that improbable given how Aurelia has been increasingly characterised since she came out as a keen bass player.
