Do you think it’s just the no kids thing? I think part of it is the “no fucks given” attitude I’ve seen a lot of women develop in their 40s

Well, why exactly did they need to give fucks before 40?
I know that there are vast numbers of reasons but 'being a parent' or seeming appealing to people in order to become one definitely influence how many fucks a lot of people give.
I will admit though I am being presumptuous.

Usually, one gives fucks before becoming a parent.

Afterwards as well, most of the time.

Heh. If the Pythons have taught me anything, is that the Catholics spawn hundreds of children per couple, because they don’t believe in birth control. Protestants have only a couple of children, despite condoms and the like being okay, but sex being bad.
