May is meant to be there as her manager, not her competition.

I think Marigold will be fine. If we're correct (That is, if MariDale are full-time cohabitant) Marigold's probably had plenty of time to grow accustomed to May's new chassis, e.g. accidental nudity due to miscommunications on bathroom schedules and the like.
