John Allenson:
Huh?!
Dropping a cat on his naked lap did knock Elliot out of his feedback loop.  A lot of times real problems are easier to deal with then imaginary problems.

(Not a recommendation to try to fix someone else's anxiety by deliberately/intentionally harming them!)

I think this is the first time we've seen him with someone where he knows the other person likes him back. With Emily, he was trying to impress her. And then mostly him trying to get an opportunity to date someone. But Elliot made it clear that he liked him so that probably takes a lot of the pressure off for him.

Plus as someone else said, when someone is freaking out, it can sometimes be easy to take the role of calm in response.

hedgie:
Welp, I"m conflicted.  Normally, I want to scream to the heavens about Jeph's (admitted) war on long hair, but Roko's new cut is really cute.

Yes to the first, and I'm... ambivalent on the cut itself.  Mostly I hope it helps her dysphoria.

Farideh:
Also, theory confirmed: Yay doesn't want to get a cat because their dogs wouldn't be able to cohabit with it.
