Why would someone with Yay's powers even be thinking in terms of whether a course of action is "safe"? If I were that powerful I'd not be worrying about my safety.

Well, I would assume injuries still hurt. And even if Yay can just jump out of a body into another, we don't know if it's instant....

We also don't know how expensive their chassis are, and if they're easily replaceable.
