I had no problem seeing it as a noun; but with at least three other possible last letters, I was lucky to have disposed of them early by chance.

Thought that might be what you meant, but didn't want to assume. It didn't even occur to me as a name before I read your previous post, though. I can definitely see how the main definition I associate with it would be less familiar for non-Americans.

Tova's comment did make me go 'oh, is that what it means!'. Being from European descent, I didn't know that definition.
