Just like real life, I'd say 'probably not'
Farideh:
Dora seems to be doing pretty well.
hedgie:
And it depends on how one defines "together". Marten is at least somewhere he's content, and aside from Claire not having a job in her field yet (and he's heavily invested in her happiness), he's in a good place. And his contentment, and being centred probably does help her feel better in the now, even if she still stresses about her future.
Hanners, as well, seems pretty together these days, and, if my own experiences with exposure therapy and contamination issues are any analogue, probably isn't overly troubled by them on a constant or possibly even daily basis.
Faye and Bubbles seem to be in a good place both as a couple and within themselves, work fears and stresses notwithstanding.
Sam,[1] Jim, Veronica, and all of the characters currently taking an extended bus trip also seem to be in fairly good places with themselves.
One doesn't need to have everything perfect, both in their lives or in themselves to be "together", even if there are struggles, whether persistent or intermittent.

--- Quote from: oddtail on 22 Feb 2022, 23:56 ---Is it just me, or "I hate saying this, but thanks" barely qualifies as thanks at all?
I know, it's supposed to establish Iris' personality, but thanking someone or apologising for something etc. is (to me) supposed to be about expressing a genuine sentiment (or an acceptable imitation of one, since telepathy is not a thing), not about saying the correct sequence of magic words. If I thank someone and make sure to express explicitly that I do not *want* to do this, it counts (again, to me) as not actually thanking them.
--- End quote ---
That's interesting, because it comes over very differently to me. The way I read it, it's the very genuineness and depth of her sentiment that forces her to express it, even though that's not something she would normally be willing to do. Basically saying that her need to express her thanks to them has overcome her general hatred of thanking anybody, more or less.

--- Quote from: Ghanima Atreides on 23 Feb 2022, 05:02 ---I agree that her gratitude is not really genuine, and she's demanding exactly what she refused to do for Willow, but
"How are you feeling?"
"Awful. That's normal though."
She could just talking about feeling awful because she had to go through a reboot, essentially, but I am getting the distinct impression that Iris is making a more general comment on her state of mind/being, and hints at a possible explanation for her misanthropic tendencies.

Iris is like Marvin (from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) but hostile instead of depressed.
