Could it not merely be parental concern? Especially with doxxing being a thing these days on top of creepy stalkers.

No, that's why I said headcannon. Though porn workers wouldn't be successful if a lot of people didn't watch porn so it wouldn't be that weird. And most dads do not want to see their adult children naked so that's also not that weird. However, I also think he loves her and is worried about her. Though with May around, that concern level may drop quite a bit.
