I'm kind of hoping that Marten and Dora (who are usually what pass for adults in this strip) actually get talking about Marten's weird social life next week. I'm sort of wondering if anyone in-universe has noticed all the strange things about how he makes friends the fandom have noticed!

I did find it fun to hear Claire and Marten go back and forth about it but I hope it doesn't turn into a huge pressure for Marten to change this/ be more closed off to strangers. A large and diverse support group is kind of the biggest positive thing to come from chronic passiveness and it's what makes such a passive character fun to read.
