I enjoy that Jeph clearly had fun coming up with new euphemisms for how short a dress could be.

I don't think I've ever had a problems with something like body disassociation--I'm fortunate to have always been comfortable in my body. However, even for me if I look into a mirror at myself for long enough things start looking weird and alien. For someone like Roko, mirrors must feel like a trap.

And here I always thought Hexadecimal's weird orb cat thing was named after the gunk you used to have to clean out of your mouse so the ball would track properly again.
