Went with 2 and 4. I'm unapologetic with what I say and I don't self-censor, but I'm also weirdly self-conscious about it. And while I don't tend to ask for money, I am not above doing that, just haven't had many opportunities to do that.

I guess it depends on what I'm apologizing for. Is it for something I regret, or just to get someone off my case?
