I wouldn’t mind a pet cheetah; all the upsides of cats but big and playful as a dog. Just need a loooot of space. And no dry cat food.
The ancient Egyptians used them like modern hunters use their gun dogs, to retrieve kills and flush winged game.

That does not make them any less cute or fluffy. It would just be a bad idea to try and pet one.
