By the way... what IS kombucha? Heard of it, never had it.

--- End quote ---

It is fermented drink. Has like half a percentage of alcohol but you can get it alcohol free.  Not that good imo.
Got myself beer with kombucha the other day cause it was 40 percent off.  Not that good either

I must say i love the current story.   Hilarious

Near Lurker:
IINM, half a percent is just the threshold for selling a drink as non-alcoholic.  If it says "less than half a percent," they made a token effort to get it all out.

Little surprised Claire's bold enough for the pride T - good for her.

I THINK (don't quote me) that's the trans flag pattern.

Yup--and I think that's what Near Lurker was saying-- that's the trans pride flag design. I imagine it's pretty widely recognized in a place like Northampton. (Though I probably think of it as more recognized than it is. One time I went on a date to a paint your own pottery shop, and the woman I was with painted a plate in the trans flag design. When the store owner was ringing us up, she looked at the plate and said, "And yours is some lines on a plate." Which, I mean, wasn't wrong...)

Anyway, I want a non-crop top version of Claire's shirt.

BenRG:
I'm starting to see why Dora added 'Advice' and 'Good Advice' to the bill of fare at CoD. It seems that Northampton is filled with many lost souls whose questions can only be answered by a barista! The punch-card seems like a good idea too.

The learning? I think that Dora is the sort of businesswoman who realises that, if she can't change something, she might as well make a profit out of it!
