I'll take The Cranberries, since not too many of FM's songs are about drinking, whereas the Dropkick Murphys....anywho.
The Cranberries did a song called "There She Goes" which was confusingly covered by Sixpence None the Richer on the Snow Day soundtrack, which starred, among other people, Iggy Pop.

That's too easy, Bob Dylan wrote a metric buttload (which is quite a bit more than a standard buttload) of songs that other people covered, one of whom was the late, great, Jimi Hendrix with All Along the Watchtower.
