Ridiculous Bosses
7.62x39mm:
Nobody's mentioned the Wiegraf/Velius fight from FFT yet? I'm shocked.
I've always, ALWAYS had trouble with that fight, even when I grossly powerleveled for days beforehand. I usually end up with only one or two guys left alive.
The fight after that isn't cakewalk either, and is downright unbeatable if you forget to set your job classes to fast ones, like Thief or Ninja.
Digs:
The Wiegraf fight is all about pumping yourself up with yell and accumulate until you're a horrible monster that Wiegraf can't touch, even as Velius. What's truly rough going is stealing all of Elmdor's crap. Or stealing anything from those Assassin girls.
I am Big Boss.
jeph:
--- Quote from: Moriarty ---A hard boss for me was Inferno in the Edgemaster/quest mode of Soul Calibur 2. Not only does he have around 5x your health and twice your damage, his morphing into other characters (namely Nightmare and Cervantes) is very annoying to counter. Plus whenever I play he constantly spams the unblockable 'Flying buzzsaw' move.
--- End quote ---
Funny, I never had trouble blocking that move.
Lately I have been getting my ass handed to me by Jinpachi in Tekken 5. Everyone else is a piece of cake and then it takes me 10 continues to beat him.
MFD:
The giant Blooper in Ricco Harbor.
Oh, no... he's not hard. Just ridiculous.
I Am Not Amused:
Did anyone ever play the little heralded Star Ocean 2? The final boss in that game, the normally, is pretty easy actually.
But then you take his limiter off.
This is done only by doing some special thing near the end of the game, and I kind of forget exactly what it is, but I have a saved Star Ocean 2 game with the final boss without his limiter, and no matter what levelling up I do, no matter how powerful I am.
He's SO fast. And SO strong.
That he just kills me in about seventeen seconds.
Ridiculous.
