i didn't really like 'against me!' and 'the epoxies' were kind of unimpressive when i listened to them after that night.

I'm not a big Against Me! fan either, but I've been listening to The Epoxies since before they were on Fat Wreck. In fact, Mitch Clem recommended them to me right on this meesage board a long, long time ago. *swoons*
Plus The Soviettes are one of those bands that I think I'd really enjoy live.
