Jeridus:
Got Moneen's "Red Tree", and Cadillac Blindside's "Allegory of Death and Fame". The former is great (far better than the previous moneen LPs). Haven't listened much to the latter, yet.

El Opium:
Sun Ra and his Solar Arkestra-The Magic City
-My first proper jazz album.

Narr:
Just got the new Pearl Jam album today (interestingly enough, it's their self-titled album...), as well as the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album.

I am happy these guys are still making music.

Oh man, my Sun Ra records are pretty much the only jazz I own and there's some crazy shit on there. I don't know what the hell is going on, half the time it sounds like an orchestra trying to tune their instruments and failing, but it's strangely compulsive...

Any jazz fans passing through this thread wanna hit me up with some recommendations? Being such a huge genre, I feel kinda embarrassed that I know nothing of it.

Tokuma:
Enon - Lost Marbles and Exploded Evidence
Of Montreal - The Sunlandic Twins
The New Pornographers - Mass Romantic

I really <3 the Of Montreal album, and the New Pornographers album is rocking as ever.
