Last track of that album = SUCH a disappointment.

Motion Picture Soundtrack is one of my favourite Kid A tracks.

Well I can't stand it. Each to their own.
In the end, the thing people will remember is kindness.

Also, the new Futureheads album is released today! Joy! :)
And I need to nag my friend to replace my Desaparecidos that he lost. Grr.

Sonic Youth - Sonic Youth

A rather different sound than the one I'm used to by Sonic Youth. The Glenn Branca influence is very clear here. I love it.

Four Tet's Everything Ecstatic and Dungen's Ta Det Lugnt are my newest musical buys, after being tempted by Spillers Records in Cardiff.

The Futureheads - News & Tributes

Awesome as it comes. I loved their first cd and this one is even better.

Fantastic compilation, if only for including the Great Beyond and saving us all from wasting money on a soundtrack album.
In the end, the thing people will remember is kindness.

tortillafactory

Red Hot Chili Peppers - By The Way

also the Lion King soundtrack.

Hmm...I'm a pretty odd person, now that I think about it.

McTaggart

The Flaming Lips - Clouds Taste Metallic

Now I have everything post Transmission From the Satellite Heart. I think that also makes it half their discography (minus compilations).
One day ends and another begins and we're never none the wiser.

Paul Kemp

Heatmiser - Yellow No. 5

thedevilissix

Brian Eno - Here Come The Warm Jets
Boards of Canada - The Campfire Headphase (finally!)
Gold Chains - Young Miss America

Hope of the States - Left.

Comments to follow in the thread I made about them.

I have just purchased the new Chad VanGaalen album "Skelliconnection", and I am damn happy about it, too :). It was the last day for preordering, so I will also receive a bonus hand-painted demo cd with 3 unreleased songs!

Thank you, SubPop!

Albums I have purchased on amazon that will hopefully arrive soon:

Thom Yorke - The Eraser
The Raconteurs - Broken Boy Soldiers (based on the wonderfully Beatley single Hands, as well as the excellent Steady, As She Goes)
Duels - The Bright Lights And What I Should Have Learned (been looking forward to this for months)
Pink Floyd - The Wall (as part of my 'buy the shit I have on MP3' policy)
Bob Dylan - Modern Times
In the end, the thing people will remember is kindness.

Praeserpium Machinarum

Yesterday I ordered the new Wäldchengarten album Distractions from their new label Phisteria. First time I ever bought something straight from the label. It is supposed to be more low-end and something as paradoxical as a relaxing noise album. The release date is tomorrow so of course I expect it to be on my doorstep the same day ;)

Not necessarily. This one is for what you bought, the other is for whether it's any good.
