Actually, I quite like MCR. They were my first proper gig.

They're not usually my thing actually, being the hardcore metal head that I am, but they're a surprisingly decent band. I'm rather fond of TCfSR. Pretty good album.

Vertical Stripes:
My most recent purchase was The Fiery Furnaces' Blueberry Boat album.

Pure audio crack.  I can't stop listening to this album.  It's like Charlie Brown meets Bjork.

"My Dog Was Lost ..." must have been inspired by Snoopy dancing.

Edit:  Except maybe for "Mason City"

There's some conflicting percussions in that song that make my brain stop.

blindsuperhero:
My parents give me £200 a month for, like, food and stuff. It came through on Friday. Yesterday, I bought:

Hejira - Joni Mitchell
Mingus Ah Um - Charles Mingus
If I Should Fall From Grace With God - The Pogues
The Only Ones - The Only Ones
Small Change - Tom Waits
Moon Safari - Air
and
If You're Feeling Sinister - Belle and Sebastian

"Fox in the snow...fox in the snow..."
