As this post has gotten slightly confusing I'm not posting a song til things work themeselves out and each person <cough cough> POSTS ONE SONG AT A TIME PER REVIEW AND ONE SONG ONLY. Pants.
--- End quote ---

If you are hinting at me, c'mon and deal with it.  Its not like the two songs I posted were very different from each other and I made it simple.  The confusion came when the newcomer didn't really form an actual review before he posted his own song for others.

If this is your first 'review' of a song, make sure you read the first page of the thread and stick with the formula.  Thank you.

As it now looks, La Creme is up to enlighten us with a new song for someone else to review.  Let's have it. :)

La Creme:
JOY! Ok... let's see.

Maybe a little bit of Indy semi-instrumental goodness. This song has the most incredibley clever change of time signatures ever. For major kudos and appreciates, say the time at which it occurs in your review (no, i don't mean the little seperate thing at the end...)
I give you:

The Harvesman (Daddy Longlegs)

Now this band knows all about the build up.  Great riffs, great mixes with the instrumentation and bringing it into the song.  The only problem I have is it didn't really go anywhere.  I was anxiously awaiting a sudden tempo change and a flurry of notes all around... but nothing.  Just some kinda hush then... "And now for something completely different."

The vocals worked, and the crescendo worked and I was digging it.  Just a build up to no where.  I still enjoyed it.
My Score:  8.3/10

Next:
Califone - 2 sisters drunk on each other
Back onto more of an ernest shot at this.  (Sorry folks, don't go into this with any preconcieved notions about the title.)

Time for bed for me.

La Creme:
Actually the track does go somewhere... somewhere being this jewel of a rock song:

Jesus Is His Name by The Sugarplastic

Not to be reviewed. Just for fun. Go review mechorg's, suckas.

KharBevNor:
Wierd sort of electronic jazz intro, with kinda amateurish sounding beats. Not that I should complain about that. Singing is ok, at least he can hold good harmony and melody. I dunno what I'd call this tbh. Sounds like electronically made Jazz. Or at least processed. There are some pretty cool licks and so forth in the middle, and a nice little outro with...well, I dunno what it was actually. Lyrics didn't really 'a jump out upon me. I kinda have trouble picking out those sort of muted vocals actually.

6.5/10

Now, my favouritest band ever, again, but I last picked them four pages/months ago, and this is a different era:

Skyclad - Womb of the Worm
