I watched about one episode of Sonic X and nearly whept. It's so bad. Especially because Robotnik never called himself Eggman. That pisses me off. But the series is good s far as game mechanics, so I still love it.

Apparently you haven't been playing the older versions than- you can't play as Knuckles until Sonic 4("Sonic and Knuckles") came out in 1994. There were many sonic games prior to it.

Fun Fact- its a well known fact that when you patch Sonic and Knuckles on Sonic 1, you can play the 3d mini game(called "Blue Spheres")- but what isn't well known is there are over 140 MILLION levels in this bonus stage. I shit you not.
