What gets me why in the early games they were called emeralds, but were all diffrent colours.

Well considering that last time they didn't have a solid story line in place, it was just Sonic Vs. Robotnik thats it.

Yea, but it was kninda hard to put a storyline in the mega drive without the user falling asleep

I got my Genesis when i was 7. It came with Sonic 2.  


I still play it today.

Along with;
Rocket Knight Adventures
Herzog Zwei (the original RTS game)
and that menacer gun - game thinger
