You are the thread winner.

my God....
Damnit!! This sucks!
I'm broke, so i cannot afford a new system, but the more i see the DS, the more i can see myself buying one.....but i know i'm gunna buy a PSP later too(my first Sony System), and its gunna be hard spliting my paycheque between the Xbox, Gamecube, DS, and PSP.....and it wouldn't hurt to support my Gameboy...

Don't get a PSP. The screen may be bigger, and their games may be able to hold more... but there are way too many downsides. The battery life is terrible, and the fact that it uses discs poses multple problems (such as disk read errors, loading times, and the fact that it has moving parts makes it even more fragile)
Plus, it says it will play MP3s and Videos... Sure, if you want to buy your collections again on UMD.
I thought I wanted to get a PSP too, until I looked into it further
Ozymandias:
The battery life isn't as bad as it was made out to be, but the design of the system has its share of problems.
If you slightly twist the PSP, your disc will fire out of the slot. The screen is too big, so the square button doesn't actually rest on its sensor, meaning it'll sometimes not register at all that you pushed it.
It has some issues.

They apparently even said they meant for the square button to rest on the censor like that.
I had no idea bout the disc-firing though... Haha
