I remember reading somewhere you can buy a pack that'll increase your battery power, and protect your screen from your grubby paws!

That whole "touching is good" campaign just begs for violation.

The other P stands for "this platform will die within a biannum".

After playing it, that's not going to be true.

This thing will be a smash hit worldwide.

I can't stop playing Wipeout and Twisted Metal, though admittedly neither of them are anything new. They're just so freaking beautiful though...

I'd rethink that, if I were you.

Like it matters and he'd actually give it to me.  But good point.

Hey how has the square button been?  It hasn't popped the game out yet either?

Square button's been fine, but I did manage to make it pop the game out.

It took a bit too much effort for it to actually happen in gameplay though, I think.

That is kind of what I'd figured.  The popping the game out business.

actually they said it wasn't a problem, that its the way they purposely designed it, and that it isn't a reason you can return the unit for, as it was intentional.  (they say it gave room for a bigger screen)

Then they said they'll fix it after they said that.  Great job.

incorrect.  they said the problem was derived from an intentional...whatever you want to call it in the design, that the square button was supposed to be placed like that to allow the most compact unit while saving hte large screen.  it was not however intended to screw up the actual use of the button, and it dindt, in the majority of cases.  still it was a known problem the aknoledged, and responded accordingly :)

As a cheap bastard, but also as a Sony whore, I must say that at first I was "OMGEEE I NEEDSES PSPEE!!!1!1", but once I saw that the system is $250, and the games are $50 (which no handheld games should be), I'm very hesitant. Maybe if I were, you know, employed, and had money, I would think differently. But even then, I still think $50 for a handheld game is too much, no matter how advanced it might be technologically. (Did I spell that right?)

It's not all that ridiculous, when you figure that the development costs for a PSP game are on par with those of a PS2 game. The more sophisticated your hardware is, the more costly it is to produce games for it. If you're unhappy now, wait until the next-generation consoles launch. (I'm definitely planning on being very careful about which games I buy, unless I get struck by a bolt of lightning flung by the money gods or something.) Besides, looking at the lineup, it's the bigger-license games that are $50, but there are still games like Wipeout (awesome, by the way) coming out at $40. (And then there is my this'll-make-you-feel-a-bit-better-about-working-here Best Buy discount.)

If I sound cantankerous, I don't mean to be. This board seems to have good people. Hi.
